Tempgard uses a 3rd party VPN solution called Logmein Hamachi to connect system wide clients and Tempgard devices to a single VPN. Logmein insures minimal configuration and the highest security standards. Authentication is carried out via RSA keypairs and data is encrypted with AES-256-CBC cipher. Purchase a Logmein subscription for as a little as $29/year for 32 member VPN or $119/year for 256 member VPN. Manage it via their web interface. Tempgard devices come pre-installed with the Logmein Hamachi software and can be configure to attach to the VPN via the Tempgard software. Tempgard software installs Logmein Hamachi as a 3rd party installation and can attach to the VPN upon installation. Once both Tempgard device and Tempgard client are attached to the VPN, it is very easy to import and connect to a Tempgard device.
